Whether building a bicycle or shipping a War Memorial statue with the greatest care, we are constantly striving to make our community a better place. We proudly sponsor Elves and More West Michigan, a program designed to provide brand-new bicycles and helmets to local, underprivileged children.  We are also pleased to contribute to a wonderful local charity called Kids’ Food Basket. Kids’ Food Basket is a force for “Attacking Childhood Hunger in greater Grand Rapids.” They began over nine years ago by serving 125 kids each school day through their Sack Supper program and now serve over 4,800 kids each day.  We take great joy in our ability and responsibility to give back to our local and worldly community.

Our drivers and employees embrace the Van’s code of values wholeheartedly. Each year since 1993, a Van’s truck driver has been awarded Driver of the Month from the Michigan Trucking Association, as well as Maintenance Man of the Month in 2009, Safety Director of the Year in 2011, and Driver of the Year in 2012.
